1932 Ford Three Window Restoration
This is no average '32 Ford. This 1932 Ford 3 Window was a revolutionary build in the early 90's. With never-before-seen features incorporated into this Hot Rod build, this real Henry Ford was in countless magazines and all over the car show circuit for a few years.
As notable and revolutionary as this original build was, after 25 years, dozens of car shows, and only a couple hundred miles, this '32 Ford started showing big issues. The car needed a complete restoration but it was critical that we kept the integrity and look of this historic build while fixing and altering the much-needed issues.
Gizmos transported the 1932 Ford Three Window to the Gizmos Headquarters with a plan. The car was torn down while cataloging all the parts and setting aside anything that needed repair, new plating, or fabrication. The frame was sandblasted, this exposed many issues beyond what was apparent prior. Gizmos when to work on the chassis. New suspension mounting points, New shocks on the rear, rebuilt original friction shocks on the front, and new links and bushings. At the customer's request, Gizmos installed a fresh 283ci chevy small block with three two-barrel carburetor setup. The AC was gone through and upgraded and all new hand-built exhaust was fabricated with only the best, Porter Mufflers. The body required some minor metal work and forming before going off to paint. Everything was stripped, painted, plated, and reassembled.
Once the car was back together with as many original parts as possible and replaced parts where needed, Gizmos put on well over a hundred miles in test driving and tuning. With the car performing well and looking better than ever, Gizmos delivered the car back to the customer. Nowadays the real Henry Ford 1932, 3 Window Coupe has a new owner of a younger generation that is enjoying with his family on regular road trips.
